About Charlene Rose, B.E.A.
Charlene Rose Johnson is a graduate of the Esoteric Astrology School of Claregate College in England, tutored by Dr. Douglas Baker, B.A., M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P.
She was raised in the northwest next to a Native American reservation where her father occasionally worked. Thus, she was exposed at an early age to the Shoshone-Bannock Native Americans. All of her life, she would be heavily involved in, and a keen student of the philosophy and lifeways of indigenous people. She practices Native American beliefs and is also a lover and student of nature. She believes that everything is alive and everything is connected, is One. Besides an astrologer, she is also an oft-published writer with several books to her credit. (In the future see SkyDanceRose.com - still under construction.)
She first began studying and working with orthodox astrology in the early seventies, using it in daily life but not professionally. In the nineties when she began seriously searching for her own Soul’s Purpose and answers to life’s deeper questions, she found the Wisdom Traditions of the Ancient World fit beautifully into what she already understood of New World ceremonies and beliefs. When she took her first Esoteric Astrology course in the mid-1990s, it was as if the last piece of the puzzle slipped into place. She began working with it professionally in 2000.
Charlene is very active; a sailor with her 100-ton captain’s license, a birder, a camper, hiker, a canoeist and kayaker, an ecologist, a student of the spiritual classics. She can be faulted (and has been!) for being too busy, but probably not for being boring!
